The U-Pick Experience

Bring the whole family to Big L Ranch and pick our Certified Organic, nutrient-rich blueberries while enjoying the beautiful California countryside.  We have plenty of parking, shaded seating, and lawn games too!  

UPDATED JUNE 14TH, 2022.  Our blueberry picking season has come to an end.  The end of season is a week earlier than normal. Our fruit set this year was definitely affected by the late April frost damage.  We are a young farm and each year we learn new things. This year we learned about weather damage, but life is still GOOD.

We recommend wearing closed-toe shoes, hat, and sunscreen.  - Upon arrival, please observe our 5 MPH driveway speed and all field rules. This is a working farm with some naturally occurring hazards. Please at all times be kind and respectful to our staff and your fellow visitors. And parents, please mind your children.

We want our guests to enjoy their visit to Big L Ranch in many ways.  Of course, our Blueberries are the highlight, but we also have a Snack Stand serving drinks, blueberry baked goods, ice cream, blueberry smoothies, and grab-n-go snacks.  Our Farm table Boutique features local makers, fresh-cut flowers, bakery stock, artisan crafts, local pottery, and other fun treasures.

Organic U-Pick Blueberries are $5 per pound.  Organic We-pick is $6 per pound.

We offer discounts for all Military, Law Enforcement, First Responders, and Teachers.

Bulk Rates are also available and we encourage families to pick in bulk for future use.  

30 pounds or more: $4 per pound ~ 50 pounds or more: $3 per pound.

Opening Weekend was May 7th & 8th this year.  Our NEWEST Snow Chaser planting should have come into harvest but a very late frost caused a lot of damage to our fruit set.  We are first-gen farmers always on a steep learning curve -- Thank you to everyone who visited our farm for blueberries,  it was a good year.  We are already thinking of what we can do better for 2023~ Cheers!
